Learning Processing

This spring I finished a course at the university about creating dynamic prototypes. In the course I learned to program in Processing, an open source language based on Java often used in the context of visual arts. There is a book about the language, Learning Processing by Daniel Schiffman, but the accompanying website is also a great place to learn about Processing. On the website there is a lot of video materials from Daniel Schiffman’s YouTube channel. There is also a lot of reference material on processing.org (links below). For me, using Processing was a fun and good way to get accustomed to programming and with Java.
